As Desi first-generation immigrant students, we have witnessed and felt the struggles of stepping into a different society and culture. The school system is very different, relationships are different, the standards are different, the differences seem endless. At DOSA we will be sharing our experiences as Desi immigrants, whether this be in school, at home, or in the outside world to make the people coming after, alongside, and ahead of us feel just a little less lost.
